I had two options. Answer or Not answer
Guess which one I chose? If you thought that I answered , you are correct.
But there are some details that I didnt tell you. Under normal circumstances, I would answer my call on the 2 ring without even thinking about it. But that all changes when you are in a bathroom stall with your pants down and just about to flush the toilet.
Now I should have flushed the toilet before answering the call but I decided to see who the caller was and then let the call ring and then I would call back. But when I looked at it it was my boss calling.
If my boss was a lady then I would have flushed the toilet and then said I was in the toilet and would be out soon. But my boss is a guy and since I had looked at the phone and realized that it was him calling I knew I had to answer.
So i picked up ( without flushing yet)
” Hello”
” Hey, Jay. Are you still at work?
“Yes I am. What can I help you with”
“Ok, good, is Si*** around? Can you ask if there is a letter in my office”
” Yes I saw her a few minutes ago. I will go look for her and I will call you back” <—- so i can finally flush the toilet and zip up my pants.
“Na, will just hold on the line, just pass the phone to her”
Cra*, so he is still on the line and I still havent flushed the toilet. People are going to see me come out of the toilet and see me not flush it and think im just nasty. They will think I was the one who is always using it and messing in it and not flushing it. Great!
So, what could I do. Couldnt even button my pants cause I had the phone in one hand and it would make a lot of noise in the headset if I attempted to button. So i just pulled my shirt over the pants and ran out the washroom to look for Sim***.
I searched the entire office screaming for her. Finally found her and just left the phone in her hands and ran back to the washroom.
